tv

Honestly I don’t think that six hours of TV a day is outrageous as people try to make it sound. It’s not right to condone six straight hours of TV, but there are people in the world who do nothing but watch TV all day. Six hours seems to pale in comparison to 12 to 24 hours. If you do nothing but watch TV it would damage you physically and mentally. Everyone should know the saying that television will degenerate your brain if you watch too much of it. For the ones who don’t it basically states that if you watch too much television you will lose sight of everything else in your existence. If you’re going to do nothing except gaze at the so called “idiot box” you will become lazy not to mention easily distracted.
The only major physical damages you can get from watching TV would be poor eye sight and hard of hearing. Those can easily be avoided if you simply sit in an appropriate place to while the TV, while having it at a moderate volume. Now coming from me this may sound kind of odd, but it would be best for everyone if you take a small break from television each day. It would be better you and your parents because you would finally get the off your back and they can think you’re doing something productive with your time. Someone once told me if you spend a lot of time pretending to do something you will end up doing something profound. It’s also funny how people have constant complaints about how there is nothing to watch on TV, but they continue to watch. Now for the fools who constantly do this you can do one of the two options.
The options are you can well let’s change the channel and find something interesting to watch or you can do something constructive with your time. I would suggest you do something constructive because chances are if you are watching all of this television you haven’t done your homework, chores, or kept you hygiene in check. By some chance you have managed to do everything that was expected of you well congrats then and you should reward yourself because you deserved it. This doesn’t mean that you can do whatever you feel like because somewhere in between you would need some rest. That’s another point because of you’re constantly viewing the tube there is a high chance that you didn’t get enough sleep. Lack of sleep has its own consequences like sleeping through something important, forgetting to help someone in need, and last but not least missing out on numerous opportunities. In general a mind is a terrible thing to waste and you can’t sleep your way through life.
Trust me with as much television as I watch I can relate with you that at times it’s just relaxing to sit back and watch some TV while eating a delicious snack. In short you can do numerous activities instead of watch television, so why not try?
